Billy Ray White

He attended and graduated from Aycock High School in Rockdale, Texas before joining the United States Army.

He remained in the Army from April of 1954 through June of 1957.

After leaving the Military, Billy moved to Dallas, Texas to work for The American Paper Stock Company, where he met the love of his life “Fessie Conger in­ 1964 and they became a union in 1971. Billie and Fessie remained a loving couple until she went home to be with the Lord on June 3rd, 2019.

Billy accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and continued to worship at the Community church in Dallas, Texas until his health began to fail.

Billy was a wonderful, kind, loving father, brother, uncle and friend to his family and those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie & Gladys Elizabeth White, (5) brothers – Jimmie Lee Norwood, Charles Roy White, James Earl White, Willie Lee White, and Michael White. Three (3) Sisters; Charlie Mae Jordan, Norma Jean Spells and Herrietta Jones.

Billy leaves to cherish his precious memories; his daughter whom he loved very much – Barbara Conger; Two (2) living Sisters; Gladys Ann Moore of Cameron, Texas and Debra Elizabeth Brown (Philemon) of Harker Heights, Texas. One (1) Brother-in-Law – Aaron Spells of Cameron, Texas, (1) Aunt – Aunt Ida Bell White of Garland, Texas, his God-daughter Toni Grimes and Son, Jay Grimes . He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews and friends who loved him dearly.
