Bryson Malachi Barnes was born July 13, 2005 and entered this world fighting against all odds. He was the epitome of a maverick, someone who marched to the beat of his own drum and left a lasting impression always. Throughout high school Bryson was well versed in building community and finished out graduating May 2024 from Rockwall ISD. Continuing on this path, he had recently enrolled at Trinity Valley Community College to pursue Photography and Audio/Visual Production. Bryson had a passion for telling stories through his camera lens that were both relatable and honest. He often said, “I have to chase my dreams,” and he lived by those words—always determined, driven, and direct because he had his mind set on giving back to his parents more than they had ever provided.
Beyond his creative ambitions, Bryson had a heart for people. He was caring, funny, kind, and a light-hearted soul who never hesitated to make you smile when you were down. He was always ready to lend a hand and offer help to anyone in need, no matter the circumstance. Many considered him a trusted confidant, someone whom you can share anything with.
Bryson leaves behind his loving parents, grandparents Sam and Clara whom he adored, and five devoted siblings that he loved deeply—Isaiah, Lonnie, Antonial, Briana, and Julius. He also leaves his cherished niece Kajeni, three special cousins CleDerius, Egypt, Adaya, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins. Bryson also has nine close friends—brothers not by blood, but by love—TJ, Coyt, Luke, Dean, Tony, DJ, Nathan, Jonathan, and Jake, and extended family who will forever hold his memory close.
Though his time with us was far too short, Bryson's light, kindness, humor, and unwavering spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. They say a fingerprint is never forgotten in the lives it touches, you truly represented this. Forever with us, until we meet again!
