Cecile Golman Rosenzweig, 97, of Dallas, passed away on November 20, 2025 with her devoted family by her side. Born in Dallas on July 1, 1928, to the late Samuel and Ella Golman, brother of the late Albert Golman, Cecile was a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to many.
A true entrepreneur, Cecile achieved much over the course of her long and full life, but nothing brought her greater joy than time spent with her family. She was married for 67 years to the love of her life, the late Al David Rosenzweig. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised two sons, Howard and Sammy Rosenzweig.
Cecile is survived by her grandchildren Shawn (Lisa), Courtney (Will), Derek (Meredith), and Evan; and her great-grandchildren Reid, Stella, Drew, Emerson, Leigh, and Emmett. She also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends, all of whom were touched by her warmth, strength, and generosity.
The graveside funeral service will be held at Sparkman Hillcrest on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
Serving as pallbearers will be Shawn Rosenzweig, Derek Rosenzweig, Alan Golman, Rick Golman, Victor Corby, and Evan Rosenzweig. Honorary pallbearers are Will Lundquist, Jared Bleiler, Seth Bleiler, Arye Corby, Aiden Bleiler, RJ “Michael” Daum, and Walt Williams. The family will receive guests for a shiva minyan on Tuesday, November 25, 6pm.
