Cecilia Louise Schuster

Cecilia Louise Schuster died peacefully in her home on January 21, 2016, surrounded by her husband and five children. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Dunbar and Louise Woerner Sellers and her brother Steve Sellers. She was born on December 14, 1939 as a third generation Dallasite, and graduated from Our Lady of Good Counsel High School and East Texas State University. She and her husband William recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary together. She was known and loved for her quiet and humble service as a devoted daughter, wife, mother, and member of St. Rita Catholic Community. A lifelong learner, she enjoyed puzzles and games, reading and sewing, and full moons and sunsets. She was joyful and optimistic, kind and encouraging, and an angel to be around. She’ll be lovingly remembered by her husband Deacon William Schuster, her children Lisa Nowak and husband Paul, William (Doc) Schuster, Tina Small and husband Glenn, John David Schuster and wife Jessica, Diane Schuster and seven grandchildren. The family will greet friends Wednesday evening January 27, 2016 just prior to the Vigil at 7:30 p.m. in St. Rita Catholic Church 12521 Inwood Rd, Dallas, TX 75244. Funeral Mass Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Msgr. Robert M. Coerver, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Hill Cemetery.
