Charles Reynard Daniels

A time to be born: Charles R. Daniels was born on December 20, 1947, to the union of the late, James K. and Ruth L. Daniels in Dallas, Texas.

A time to learn: As an adolescent, he received his formal education in the Dallas Independent School district, where he attended Charles Rice Elementary School, Pearl C. Anderson Middle School, and James Madison High School. He also attended Cedar Valley Community College (DCCD) and graduated from the Southern Bible Institute & College (SBIC), in Dallas, Texas.

A time to Serve: Bro. Daniels followed in the footsteps of his late father and became a proud member of the “United States Army” where he trained as a medic and served in Viet Nam.

A time to worship: Bro Daniels united with the Church at Nineveh (Dallas, Texas), where he was an active and well-loved member until his passing.

A time to love: It was during his service at Nineveh, where he met and married the love of his life, Mrs. Rosie Moss-Daniels in 1997.

A time to work: Bro. Daniels was always known as a hard worker and a businessman. He worked as a “Cabbie” for several Cab Companies, owned a small Bar-B-Que establishment, a Thrift Store, and he was always eager to help in several family businesses.

A time to live: Bro. Daniels was affectionately known as Uncle Chib, Geechie Dan, Texas Silk and Bro Charlie. He lived life to the fullest and his greatest joy was spreading the Word of God and being in the company of family and friends. Bro Daniels loved gardening and cultivated a garden of fresh fruit and vegetables which he often gave away to others.

A time to remember: Bro. Daniels leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memory: A loving wife-Rosie Daniels, 2 amazing son’s-Andre Gustus, and Charles L. Daniels, a beautiful daughter-Tonia Ranco (Robert), a loving sister-Patricia Johnson, 6 wonderful grandsons’- Micah Daniels, Michiah Daniels, Charles L Daniels, Jr., Ashton Daniels, Ahmad Daniels and Chance Daniels, an amazing granddaughter-Audrey Daniels, a lovable great-grandson, Michiah Nicholas Daniels and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
