He is survived by a child: Charles (Kelly) Gandy of Hillsboro; three grandchildren: Charles Wayne Gandy Jr. of Grand Saline, Texas, Taylor Sweeney of Independence, MO. and Alexandria Gandy of Hillsboro, MO.; two great-grandchildren: Charles Wayne Gandy III and Charlotte Rose Gandy of Grand Saline, Texas; one sibling: George (Shirley) Gandy of Jacksonville, Fla.; nieces and nephew: Sharon Fletcher, Veronica Clark and Thomas Gandy.
He was preceded in death by a sibling: Thomas Wayne Gandy.
A funeral service is scheduled for a later date at Grove Hill Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Grove Hill Funeral Home.
