

Charles Moreno Villarreal, age 72, passed away on 22 November in Dallas, Tx. He was born on 16 July 1948 in Dallas, Tx to Frank Villarreal and Irene Arellano Moreno. Charles was raised in Dallas, Tx and graduated from North Dallas High School in 1967.
He was married to June Alice Chapa in 1968 and had 3 daughters. He remarried in 1974 to Irene Villarreal and had 1 daughter and 2 sons.
He was a Senior Drafter at Sabre Industries where he worked for more than 15 years.
In his spare time, Charles enjoyed playing chess and tennis, traveling domestically and internationally, watching Bond movies, listening to good music, and cars (especially his DeLorean). He loved life.
Charles was loved, good-hearted, and well-respected. He loved his family and meeting new people. He was very generous around those he knew, always willing to help you out, and would always “secretly” pick up the tab. The price of having a good time did not matter to him. He was always ready for the next adventure. He was a good man, and his passing leaves a gaping hole in our hearts.
He is preceded in death by his father Frank Villarreal, his mother Irene Arellano Moreno, his wife Irene Villarreal, his daughter Valerie Villarreal, and his son Carlos Villarreal.
He is survived by:
• His siblings: Edward (and Brenda) Moreno, Henry (and Argelia) Moreno, Roberta Moreno, and Rosemary Marin.
• His uncle: Armando (and Francis) Esquivel.
• His children: Laurie (and Homer) Tercero, Nanette Moreno, Diana Moreno, and Eric Villarreal.
• His grandchildren: Adrian, Andrew, Alex, Sarah, Trey, Johnathan, and Isabella.
• His great-grandchildren: Julian, Alejandra, and Jackie.
Other notes and accomplishments: Charles was an active member at the Fraternal Order of Eagles where he served as Chaplain, Vice President, and President of District 6. He was a member of InterNations. He was also a member of the DeLorean club.
