Christine Rizo Martinez

Christine Rizo Martinez, age 74, of Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025. She was born on February 27, 1951, in Dallas to Faustino and Josephine Rizo. Christine spent her entire life in the city she loved, where her story began and beautifully unfolded.

Christine is preceded in death by her infant son, Prince Willie, whom she now joins in eternal rest. She is survived by her beloved husband Jesus, her beautiful three daughters-Christine, Veronica, and Alexandra, her cherished grandchildren—Alexis, Avery, Kennedy, Alyssa, and Anthony Jr.—and her treasured great-grandchildren—Mia, Ethan, Eliana, and Emma, and her son-in-law Anthony. All held a special place in her heart, and she adored them beyond measure.

In 1971, Christine married the love of her life, Jesus Martinez, and together they built a family grounded in love, strength, and devotion. They raised three daughters, who were her greatest pride

and joy.

Christine lived a life full of simple joys and vibrant spirit. She loved playing Bingo, Shopping, Thrifting, scrolling through TikTok, and taking long rides around Dallas with her husband. Together, they revisited the many places where her life’s chapters were written—each corner filled with memories, laughter, and stories she never grew tired of sharing.

She will forever be remembered for her radiant smile, her infectious laughter, her generous and giving heart, her unforgettable cooking, and her unmistakable sass that made her uniquely Christine. But most of all, she will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her husband and family, who will continue to carry her love with them always.

Christine’s legacy lives on in the countless moments she created, the love she poured into every relationship, and the memories that will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

May she rest in eternal peace.

A visitation will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, located at 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, Texas, 75220, on December 12, 2025, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Following the visitation, a Liturgy of the Word will take place at the same venue, beginning at 2:00 pm.
