

Christopher Samuel Hagar passed from this world to join his Heavenly Father and Savior in Heaven on November 30, 2021. Christopher was born in Dallas Texas on January 23, 1963 to parents Leo Samuel Hagar and Judith Kathryn Hagar. He is survived by brother James Hagar and sister Julianna Hagar, along with Aunts Nora Wogan of Houston and Jan Shipp of Gladewater along with numerous first, second, third cousins, dear friends and colleagues.
Upon graduation from Richardson High School, Christopher joined the U.S. Air Force where he served honorably for seven years as a Life Support Specialist receiving numerous accolades from his superiors. He then went on to graduate from Heald College in California, with a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He earned ITTL, A+ and Network+ Certifications and excelled in Desktop Support. Later he studied political science at University of North Texas, maintaining a 3.95 grade average while working full-time.
Over the span of his distinguished 35-year career in IT, Christopher worked for large companies in Fort Worth and Dallas including BNSF Railways, AST, The Mailbox, K. Hovnanian Homes, Santander Consumer USA, and most recently held a position in IT for Cognizant, working at the Toyota US Headquarters in Plano, Texas.
Christopher's love of the Dallas Cowboys, the Dallas Mavericks, the Dallas Stars and the Texas Rangers ran deep. Not only a big sports fan, he also participated in sports, playing soccer and coaching soccer as well. He shared this love of sports with both his Dallas family and his Houston family members, including his Dad, brother, sister and cousins.
Family and Food was very important to Christopher and he enjoyed cooking for his family, especially his Dad's special recipe of bar-b-que chicken. His humor, generosity of spirit, and love of family will be greatly missed.
A celebration of life for Christopher will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, Texas 75220.
