Clovis was a 1976 graduate of Center High School. He later graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Post graduation, he successfully passed the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy Exam to become a Certified Public Accountant. Upon certification, Clovis E. Sanford, P.C. was created and continued to grow over the years. He believed you would walk in as a client and walk out as a new friend. Through the years, those friends became like family.
Clovis met his wife Barbara April 18, 1987 in Ft. Worth, Texas. They were married October 22, 1988 in Baird, Texas. They were married for thirty-six glorious years never leaving one another’s side.
Clovis is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Earl (C.E.) and Ruth and brother, Darryl.
Clovis is survived by his wife, Barbara Moore Sanford and his two dogs Ruby and Opal.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be determined.
