

Constance Dallas Green was born in Birmingham Alabama to Hamp Dallas Junior(Father), Vivian Steele (Mother) who preceded her in death.
Everyone knew that she would grow to be a special loving lady she started her life out in the church serving God and being kind to everyone.
She attended Lincoln elementary school and graduated with honors from A.H Parker High School being honored as a great clarinet player in the thunder herd marching band. Connie had the honor of marching with the great Dr. Martin Luther King JR. as one of his hostess. She proceeded with a higher education as she attended Miles college and continue to play clarinet in the mighty Golden Bears marching band.
She was also recognized as being the best clarinet player in the sector of instruments . Wow! She could really play in high step in that marching band. The band instructor offered her a scholarship. She also pledged Rho Nu Tau Sorority . She graduated from Miles college with a bachelors degree in elementary education. The most greatest God-given talent that Connie as we called her possessed was to play for anyone that she had the pleasure to meet was to offer prayer for and with them. She was truly a God blessed lady and a gift of prayer.
She taught school in Birmingham, Alabama before moving to Dallas Texas where she taught drivers education at De Soto high school, she also taught reading at various elementary schools in Dallas. She was the principal at Eagles Nest Christian Academy Until she retired.
When Connie moved from Birmingham Alabama to Dallas Texas she met a very kind supportive Man that she married Nathel Green in this union two Children were born , Natalie Carole and Peggy Faith’lyn
Connie was a God fearing praying woman. She often talked about heaven and was extremely excited to get there one day.. In her younger days she enjoyed, cooking, swimming, dancing, listening to music , reading, skating and loving on animals, "of all kinds” she was musically inclined, she also enjoyed playing and listening to traditional and classical music on the Clarinet, Piano and the organ.
She was preceded in death by her son Reginald Lewis, Baby Angel Green , her brothers Oscar Edward Steele, Hamp Dallas Junior, her sister Evelyn Hartwick, and Jaqueline Lyles ,her grandmother Ella Steele (Grandmother) Andre L Music (stepson), her nephew Lawrence McMiller( Nephew) Jennifer Barnett (niece)
Connie’s memories will live in the hearts of her family and friends . Her kind and supportive , loving husband Nathel Green,daughters Natalie Green , Peggy Chatman (Corey Chatman) grandchildren Joshua Dallas Harper, Bishop Chatman, Tytus Chatman, Dakeno, Chatman , Jessica Chatman .
Her stepchildren :Keith Whitlow,(Nivlem Whitlow) Steven Whitlow (Tammy Whitlow) Stevin Smith (Aka Hedake) (Delicia Smith), Craig Winters, Wesley Winters, Kelly Morgan,Nicole Morgan, Her nieces, Peggy Spruce , Vivian McGrue, (James McGrue JR.) Dr. Janet McMiller (Lawrence McMiller preceded in Death) and a host of nieces, nephews and grandchildren .
Death leaves a heartache that none can heal. Love leaves memories that no one can steal.
