Cristobal Flores Espino

Our beloved Cristóbal “Cris” Flores Espino, of Dallas, Texas, tragically passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 29. Born on February 15, 1995, in Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico, Cris spent much of his life in Texas.

Cris was a charismatic child, often rebellious but always full of life. His family affectionately referred to him as "Panfilo" as a kid, a memory he always cherished. From a young age, Cris was full of energy and curiosity, always pushing boundaries and following his own path. He had a passion for soccer and boxing—interests that stayed with him throughout his life. Even as a young boy, Cris kept his head held high and his mind set on the future, determined to create the life he envisioned. His playful, adventurous spirit made him a beloved figure among his family and friends. He cherished his role as a devoted father, and his daughter, whom he lovingly referred to as "Naynay," brought him immeasurable joy, filling his heart and soul with boundless love.

Cris is survived by his cherished daughter, Nayeli; his devoted mother, Oralia; his caring father, Adán; his child’s mother, Eva; his dear sisters and brothers; his beloved grandmothers; his numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his best friend, with whom he shared a bond of brotherhood that transcended friendship.

Cris had a variety of passions that brought him great joy. He loved spending time at the ranch, horseback riding with his close friend Fabian. He also enjoyed playing pickleball, indulging in his love for race car driving, and playing poker. A true connoisseur, Cris took great pleasure in fine dining, enjoying wagyu steak and his favorite dessert, cheesecake, while savoring moments over whiskey and cigars. He had a refined taste for tequila and champagne, always keen to explore new varieties and share his appreciation with family. Cris had a deep love for high-end fashion, such as clothes and his prized watch collection. These hobbies allowed him to embrace life with the same enthusiasm and joy that he brought to all his loved ones. One vivid memory his sister holds dear is from the last race Cris participated in at GTR Fest. She remembers seeing him in all his glory, wearing his racing jacket and helmet, fully immersed in the moment. She can still picture him, focused and passionate, so engaged in the race that he turned down a drink without a second thought. She recalls seeing him at his best—fully embodying the intensity and joy he found in racing, just being himself—living fully in the present and reveling in the excitement of the moment. This memory will always remind her of Cris’s drive, determination, and the joy he found in doing what he loved.

This is how Cris should be remembered: fully immersed in life, living with purpose, and pursuing his passions with an unstoppable spirit. Known for his infectious smile and warm, joyful personality, Cris touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He had an unparalleled ability to brighten any room with his presence. A man who worked tirelessly and celebrated life with equal passion, he lived fully, savoring each moment. His unwavering love for his family and friends was evident in all that he did, and his memory will continue to inspire and uplift all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In addition to his family, Cris leaves behind a wide circle of friends who will remember him for his kindness, laughter, and generosity. His passing leaves a void that will be felt by all who loved him.

Nuestro amado Cristóbal “Cris” Flores Espino, de Dallas, Texas, falleció trágicamente el 9 de diciembre de 2024, a la edad de 29 años. Nacido el 15 de febrero de 1995 en Morelia, Michoacán, México, Cris pasó gran parte de su vida en Texas.

Cris era un niño carismático, muchas veces rebelde pero siempre lleno de vida. Su familia se refería cariñosamente a él como "Pánfilo" cuando era niño, un recuerdo que siempre atesoró. Desde muy joven, Cris estuvo lleno de energía y curiosidad, siempre traspasando límites y siguiendo su propio camino. Tenía pasión por el fútbol y el boxeo, intereses que lo acompañaron durante toda su vida. Incluso cuando era niño, Cris mantuvo la cabeza en alto y la mente puesta en el futuro, decidido a crear la vida que imaginaba. Su espíritu juguetón y aventurero lo convirtió en una figura querida entre su familia y amigos. A Cris le sobreviven su querida hija, Nayeli; su devota madre, Oralia; su cariñoso padre, Adán; Eva, madre de su hija; sus queridos hermano y hermanas; sus amadas abuelas; sus numerosas tías, tíos y primos; y su mejor amigo, con quien compartía un vínculo de hermandad que trascendía la amistad.

Cris tenía una variedad de pasiones que le producían grandes alegrías. Le encantaba pasar tiempo en el rancho, montar a caballo con su amigo cercano Fabián. También le gustaba jugar pickleball, disfrutar de su amor por la conducción de coches de carreras y jugar al póquer. Cris, un verdadero conocedor, disfrutaba mucho de la buena mesa, disfrutando del filete wagyu y su postre favorito, la tarta de queso, mientras saboreaba momentos con whisky y puros. Tenía un gusto refinado por el tequila y el champagne, siempre dispuesto a explorar nuevas variedades y compartir su aprecio con la familia. Cris tenía un profundo amor por la moda de alta gama, como la ropa y su preciada colección de relojes. Un recuerdo vívido que su hermana aprecia mucho es el de la última carrera en la que participó Cris en el GTR Fest. Recuerda haberlo visto en todo su esplendor, con su chaqueta de carreras y su casco, completamente inmerso en el momento. Todavía puede imaginarlo, concentrado y apasionado, tan involucrado en la carrera que rechazó una bebida sin pensarlo dos veces. Ella recuerda haberlo visto en su mejor momento, encarnando plenamente la intensidad y la alegría que encontraba en las carreras, simplemente siendo él mismo, viviendo plenamente el presente y deleitándose con la emoción del momento. Este recuerdo siempre le recordará el impulso, la determinación y la alegría de Cris que encontraba al hacer lo que amaba. Así es como se debe recordar a Cris: inmerso de lleno en la vida, viviendo con un propósito y persiguiendo sus pasiones con un espíritu imparable. Conocido por su sonrisa contagiosa y su personalidad cálida y alegre, Cris tocó las vidas de todos los que lo conocieron. Tenía una habilidad incomparable para alegrar cualquier habitación con su presencia. Un hombre que trabajó incansablemente y celebró la vida con igual pasión, vivió plenamente, saboreando cada momento. Su amor inquebrantable por su familia y amigos fue evidente en todo lo que hizo, y su memoria seguirá inspirando y elevando a todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.
