Cynthia Dee Ulloa was born on September 30, 1952 in Dallas, Texas to Thomas & Wilma Hull. She was an only child who grew up in Garland. She attended Garland High School and was proudly a Showboater. She graduated Garland High Class of '70. Cindy then attended El Centro College in Dallas to obtain her degree as a registered nurse. This was her lifetime career. She served as a nurse for over 40 years!
Cindy was also a faithful servant of the Lord. She was a member of the New Liberty Baptist Church and taught Hannah's Sunday School Class for many years. She was also a member of the choir. Something she always said that will remain with us is, "God keeps his promises"; "It's not about me (you)".
Cindy, when she wasn't working, enjoyed reading and watching old films, like "Gone with the Wind". She enjoyed music from the 60s & 70s, and loved the Opera. Most of all, Cindy loved being with family. Her grandchildren were her life. They called her "Nana". She loved spending time with them; reading to them, watching them grow, and taking them to share Coke Slurpees with her. She really enjoyed cooking with her granddaughter Estela too.
Cindy was funny, had an infectious laugh, the best laugh. She was smart and quick witted. She loved her life. We will miss her tremendously.
On Tuesday, April 19, 2016, Cynthia "Cindy" Ulloa was called to Heaven.
Her life and laughter will continue to be remembered and celebrated by her daughter, Tara Valencia of Garland, Texas; her grandchildren, Thomas Gutierrez, Jose Gutierrez & Estela Gutierrez of Garland; her best friend, Arthi Singh; for favorite cuddle friend, her cat, "Tom"; all of her church family at New Liberty Baptist, and many other relatives and close friends.
