

David “Dave” Bronson Anderly, age 73, of Dallas, Texas, entered into eternal rest Saturday, February 12, 2022. He was surrounded by his loving children who had been devoted to his care since he suffered a stroke on November 23, 2021.
Dave was born January 7, 1949 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Bernard Harvey and Nancy Bronson Anderly. He graduated from Breck School in Golden Valley, Minnesota and then continued on to Berkshire School in Sheffield, Massachusetts before being drafted by the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He was a tremendous athlete, serving as his high school's team captain for football, hockey, and baseball and received All Conference honors in all three sports multiple years and was recently inducted into the Breck School Athletic Hall of Fame. He went on to play baseball for the U.S. Army while stationed in Okinawa, Japan. His love for sports persisted throughout his life, coaching his children and countless others who were blessed to call him "coach." He was a lover of music, literature, documentaries, trivia, and history.
A devoted son, brother, cousin, father, grandfather and uncle, his family was his greatest treasure. He created a legacy of tremendous love, infectious laughter, big-hearted generosity and selfless sacrifice. His faith carried him throughout life's ups and downs and he found peace in the Lord during his most recent health trials.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bernard “Bernie” and Nancy. He is survived by the mother of his children, Penny; children, Amie Plunk (Ben), Eric (Glenna), Adam (Melissa); grandchildren, Michael, Michelle, Steven, Josh, Peyton, Tommy, Nolan, Katie, Leah, John, Carrigan, Hope, Faith, Elizabeth and Samuel; siblings, Sarah Rademacher (Don), Katie Fisher, Steve (Jody) and James; many nieces and nephews.
