July 15, 1953 – August 5, 2025
David Morgan Crow, 72, of El Campo, Texas, passed away on August 5, 2025. Born on July 15, 1953, in Dallas, Texas, David was a devoted brother, uncle, partner, and friend who will be remembered for his quiet strength, loyalty, and generous heart.
David grew up in Oak Cliff and graduated from David W. Carter High School. He went on to earn an accounting degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1976. He later built his career, most notably spending 25 years with Reliant/CenterPoint Energy before his retirement.
David was known by all who knew him as honest, trustworthy, and loyal. He was a man of few words, often preferring to stay in the background, but his presence brought calm and comfort to those around him. Though he never sought the spotlight, he showed up when it mattered — whether it meant traveling a long distance for a family gathering or stepping in to lend a hand.
He is survived by his sister, Kim Adams and her husband Bobby; niece Shannon Morgan and her husband Jason; nephew Nathan Adams and his wife Kim; great-niece Harper; and great-nephews Calvin, Townes, Cohen, Danny, and Silas. He is also survived by his longtime partner, Connie Schnepp. David was preceded in death by his parents, Charlene and Morgan LeVon Crow.
David's steady presence, quiet generosity, and deep devotion to those he loved will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His family and friends are grateful for the time they shared with him and will carry his memory in their hearts
