Deborah Elaine Cooper was born on June 6,1951 to the late Dorothy and Earnest Cooper in Dallas, Texas. Deborah was the second oldest child, born of five children. She attended Dallas Independent School District where she graduated from Lincoln High School class of 1969. In 1973, Deborah was introduced to the Love of her Life, Mr. Bobby Joe Young. She continued to love Bobby and in 1981 she became Deborah Elaine Young and to this beautiful family she was blessed with an extended daughter, Mellanee and she raised her two children, Craig and Kimberly.
In the early 1980's she became a faithful member of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship under the pastoral care of Dr. Tony Evans. As she began her Christian walk at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, she joined the Usher Board. Sis. Young served wholeheartedly, making sure her services were pleasing and acceptable to her Savior. Deborah worked for the United States Postal Service at the Main office in Dallas for twenty-eight years as a supervisor. She had a great love of cooking and baking, especially her famous "Peach Cobbler," designing floral arrangements, traveling to various places and scenic areas, going out to eat and most of all LOVING her family. Deborah's faith carried her through her walk in Life and she found great consolation in Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee."
On Saturday, September 14, 2019, Deborah Elaine Young entered into her eternal home of Paradise. She was welcomed by her parents, Dorothy and Earnest Cooper and one sister, Sandra Marie Cooper.
