Delia Pintor Granado, age 88 of Forney, TX passed away on May 28, 2025. She was born in Dallas, TX on June 30, 1936 to parents, Gregorio and Maria Pintor. Delia studied to get her GED and continued her education and received a Bachelors degree from Dallas Baptist University and a Masters degree from Southern Methodist University.
Delia married Faustino Granado on February 15, 1955. They were married for 63 years until Tino passed away in 2017.
Delia was a teacher with Dallas ISD for 30 years. She enjoyed working with children and was also a Girl Scout leader for many years. She liked to sew, read books and she enjoyed traveling. Delia and Tino visited many places and they both enjoyed time at the casinos.
Delia is preceded in death by her parents, Gregorio and Maria Pintor; sisters, Genoveva, Mary, Margaret and Ydalia; brothers, Gregorio, Alfred, Jesse, Celestino, Frank, Joe, Jesse Jr (Beve) and John. She is survived by her dear sister, Juanita Rendon; daughters, Vivian Silva (Arthur) and Melinda De La Rosa (Armando); son, Gilbert Granado (Lisa); grandchildren, Jimmy Hernandez (Tandy), Leticia Corey (Jarod), Megan Beckham (Allen) and Jordan and Sarah Granado; great grandchildren, Lincoln, Audrey, Maverick Beckham and Ella and Elijah Corey as well as many nieces and nephews.
