Ms. Delores Barello

Delores “Dee” Barello was a fun-loving, generous, kind mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was the most patient, organized, and dependable of all of us. Whenever we needed help to prepare, plan, or even cook and clean she would be there early and leave last. Whenever we needed an encouraging word or just a person to take your side even if you were in the wrong, she would listen, say the other person was wrong, and find the right positive words to lift your spirit. If you needed a bingo-mate, a gambling sidekick, a dancing partner, movie companion, or a soccer player who would always show up, you would choose momma. If you needed a hand, a dollar, one of her delicious cookies, or the best banana pudding, she would give it with a smile and an offer for more to come later. If you were blessed to know momma, then you know she was your MVP and you know you were lucky to have had her in your life. We will always have a hole in our hearts and lives for momma but she would not want us to cry or be sad for her. She would want us to eat more chocolate, have dessert first, say a kind word, do a good deed, give a long hug, donate time or money to a good cause, enjoy each other now, not sweat the small stuff, and support and love one another. Momma you are loved and will always be the example we follow.
