

Delores McDonald was born in Merigold, MS to the parents of Jannie Ruth Dukes and Clarence McDonald Sr. At the age of six, Delores and her older sister Mattie moved to Dallas, Texas with their family. After moving to Texas, Delores attended school in DISD. She retired from Borden.
Delores loved her family dearly and her door was always opened for all those she loved. She was an exceptional cook, and many can attest to that. Delores had two beautiful children whom she loved so dearly that blessed her with many beautiful grandchildren. Her grandchildren were her heart, and she had an unbreakable bond with them. Delores was very conversational as well as witty and could keep a conversation going on for hours. All that knew her, knew she was the life of the party.
Delores is preceded in death by her parents Jannie Dukes, Clarence McDonald Sr., and her sister Mattie Brown.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her son Clyde Lee McDonald, daughter Sabrena Evette Robinson, sister, brothers, grandchildren, and over 20 great grandchildren.
Delores is also survived by her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as other relatives and many friends.
