Dial Hogan Anderson

Dial Hogan Anderson passed on March 13, 2021 at the age of 74. She is survived by her daughter Mariana (husband Mitchell), Brothers Brooke (wife Margie) Courtney (wife Carol) and Sister Sally, Cousins Mary and Larry Ratcliffe. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews “who loved Aunt Dial”.

She is preceded in death by her husband Andy, parents John and Marjorie Hogan and Brother John Hogan Jr.

Dial was an accomplished business woman. She was VP of sales for 40 years and part owner of First Food Co. She was an active member in many business organizations and received numerous recognitions, including the Progressive Group Alliance for Food Service Excellence. Dial served on the board of the Preston Tower Association.

Dial’s spirit is epitomized by the message on her phone. “This is Dial having the best day of my life”. She will always be remembered for her kindness, generosity and a willingness to help.

Dial leaves behind many wonderful and loyal friends. They have been with her in happy times and during her challenging heath journey of the past few years. The family wants to give special thanks to Jan Olavarri who donated a kidney to Dial. Also, special thanks to Mary Blake Meadows and Ron Fletcher who have gone above and beyond in the love and care of Dial.

There will be a visitation at Sparkman Hillcrest on Tuesday, March 23 from 6:00 to 8:00PM. Memorial mass will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 24 10:00AM.
