Diana Evangelina Chapa

Diana Evangelina Chapa 52, passed away on Febuary 8, 2013 in Dallas. She was born on July 28, 1960 in Dallas, TX to Richard B. Vasquez and Francis Esparza. Diana was a hardworker with a strong faith in the Lord. She enjoyed antiquing and listening to the music from the 70's & 80's, especially Selena; Diana also appreciated the beauty of all flowers with roses being her favorite. But her biggest love was her family, especially her son and grandsons, who called her "Pookie." They spent many hours watching movies together and playing with her two Chihuahuas, Baby and Duckie. A loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, Diana will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Francisca Esparza Vasquez. Diana is survived by her son, Marty Jay Chapa; grandsons, Anthony Martin Chapa and Adrian Michael Rodriguez, all of Dallas, TX; sisters, Mary Helen Pearson of Honolulu, HI, Sylvia Francis Maldonado of Dallas and Pauline Rangel of Dallas; her father, Richard Briseno Vasquez of Mabank, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, Febraury 11, 2013 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas, TX.
