Donald F. Sellers, Ph.D. born on April 19, 1927, died October 24, 2017. Don was a voracious seeker of knowledge with a personal touch. Don had a unique gift of connecting with everyone in a very special way. He adored all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren and was proud of every one of them. He was devoted to his wife, Betty, whom he cherished and adored. Most of all, he loved The Lord and is resting with him. A navy veteran, Don earned a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas, a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from SMU, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M. Don is survived by his wife, Betty; son, Chuck and wife, Theresa; daughter, Mary Collins and husband Dave; six grandchildren, Geoff Ferguson and wife Laura, Casey Parker; Mac, Grace, Cole and Hunt Sellers; and two great grandchildren, Maddy and Chase Ferguson. The world is a lesser place without him. A special Thanks to the Staff at Medical City who took such great care of him in his final days. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 3 pm, at Greenland Hills United Methodist Church, 5835 Penrose Ave, Dallas, TX 75206.
