Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away December 25, 2012 at her home in Dallas. Donna was born November 24, 1943 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Hershel and Mary Lou Whitaker. She grew up in Owensboro and moved to Dallas in 1972. Donna was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church ever since she moved to Dallas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Kenneth Eugene Sharp, parents, and 6 siblings. Donna is survived by her children, Kenneth Russell Sharp, Cynthia Renee Griffin, Laura Michelle Zerbel, Paul Matthew Sharp, Donna Kay Barrett and Derek Andrew Sharp; 20 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 3 siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews. The Rosary will be recited 7pm and visitation will be 6-8pm, Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Sparkman/Crane Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be 10am, Friday, December 28, 2012 at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church, 1404 Old Gate Lane Dallas, TX 75218.
