Dorothy Frances Kennedy Keith

Dorothy Frances Kennedy Keith, born January 29, 1919, to Wirt Fritz and Kathleen Yantis Kennedy, passed into the presence of the Lord Jesus on January 2, 2013. Born in Wolfe City, TX, she married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Wilbur Carroll Keith on September 2, 1937. As a professional artist, she particularly enjoyed commissioning memorable family home sites, painting bluebonnet landscapes, and traveling with Wilbur. Dorothy also loved the outdoors and fishing. She was a member of University Park United Methodist Church, Dallas Garden Club, Texas Fine Arts Association, and many other art and gardening organizations. She is preceded in death by her husband Wilbur Carroll Keith, by her son, Wilbur Carroll "Bo" Keith, Jr., and by her brother, William F. Kennedy. She is survived by her three children: daughter Mary K. Pulliam and husband, Robert D. Pulliam of Fairview, TX; daughter Betty K. Elliott and husband, Scott Elliott of Ben Wheeler, TX; and son, P. Stan Keith and wife, Elizabeth H. "Betsy" Keith of Dallas, TX, and loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial celebration of Dorothy's life will be held at 4 PM on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, TX, 75225. Public visitation from 10AM- noon, January 5.
