Earlene was the Valedictorian of her class at Pleasant Grove High School, and has been a longtime active member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Thomas E. Ransom, her two sisters, and her parents.
Earlene will live on in the hearts of her daughters Gail Venturi and husband Felix, and Karen Haislip and husband Doug; her grandchildren Kelly Pineda, Gregory Pineda, Todd Haislip and wife Cindy, Zachary Haislip and wife Sarah; her step-grandchildren Gabrielle Venturi , and Danielle Carey and husband Evan; her great-grandchildren Peyton and Ansley Haislip; her brother-in-law Joe Hill. She was also loved and adored by her many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, February 17 from 2pm to 5pm at Grove Hill Funeral Home, and Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 18 at 10:00am at Pleasant Grove Christian Church, 1324 Pleasant Dr, Dallas 75217. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park.
