Earnestine Roberson was born February 26, 1937 in Rusk, TX to the parents of Earnest Conley and Winnie Virginia Foreman. She attended GW Bradford School in Rusk, TX. She accepted Christ at a young age where she attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Rusk, TX. After school she moved to San Diego, CA and later move to Dallas Tx where she received her Cosmetology License from Madame CJ Walker. She owned and operated Robersons Coiffeurs for over 50 years. She LOVED being a hairstylist and making everyone look beautiful. She also LOVED to travel and play spades. Preceded her in death her husband Henry Roberson, two sisters Pearl Bradley and Katie Spencer and one brother Tom Melvin Conley; she leaves to cherish in her memories her lovely children: two daughters Angie Thompson and Shena Thompson, five sons Melvin Thompson (Velma), Earnest Thompson (Teresa), Michael Thompson (Kayla), Geno Thompson, and Christopher Thompson (Toni) all from Dallas, TX; grandchildren: 8 grandsons Courtney Thompson, Geno Thompson, Tory Thompson, Christopher D. Thompson, Antoine Stevens, Christopher J. Thompson Jr, Christopher Pipkins, and Marcos Perry; and 4 granddaughters Tiva DeVille, LaToya Thompson, Dane’le DuPree, and Bri Lister; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle, family and friends.
