Eddie Hamilton

Eddie Charles Hamilton was born to the late Mr. Booker T. Hamilton Sr and Codella I. Hamilton on February 11, 1953, Pittsburg, Texas. At an early age he became a member of the Rocky Mound A.M.E Church. Eddie attended Douglas High School and graduated from Pittsburg High School in the Class of 1971. Shortly after graduation he joined the U.S. Army.

After leaving the military and other federal service positions, he joined the U.S Postal Service as a Mail Handler and retired after more than 40 years of service. He also retired from American Eagle, a subsidiary of American Airlines. Eddie enjoyed music, dominos, sports of all kinds, with a love and devotion to his beloved Dallas Cowboys.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Sarah McFarland, Imogene Herrington, Alberta Bell, and Gloria Hamilton, his brothers, Willie Hamilton, and Booker T. Hamilton Jr.

Eddie leaves to cherish his memory wife, Mollie, his son Charles (Kameron) and daughter Letia. Four grandchildren; Ambresha, Ahlana, Kalia, and Kaiden. Sisters Mary Tennison (Ivy) and Lodean Jones (James). Bonus son Antwan Armster and grandson Quiante (Q) Garner. Cherished niece and nephew Patricia and Hilton Washington and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
