Edith Veronica Oliver, 94, passed away peacefully on Feb. 28, 2011. Born June 21, 1916. Known to most as "Aunt E". She is survived by numerous family and friends. She spent her life throughout the South. Growing up in Mobile, Alabama and living her adult life in Houston, Tx., Teague, Tx., Ferris, Tx. and passed away at Odd Fellow & Rebekah Nursing Home in Ennis, Tx. She was a devoted Catholic who never lost her faith or religion throughout her life. She started her career at a young age as a telephone operator with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. She worked for SWB until she retired. She loved her career and was always telling numerous stories of being a telephone operator.She told these stories with such pride.
