Born in Durant, Oklahoma, Elizabeth lived a long and meaningful life defined by her strength, grace, and unwavering devotion to her family and community. She was known for her kindness, quiet resilience, and the genuine care she showed to everyone she encountered.
Elizabeth dedicated 30 years of her professional life to the ARCO Corporation, where she was respected for her work ethic and commitment. Following her career, she continued her service to others through 36 years of volunteer work at Charlton Methodist Hospital, where she made a lasting impact on patients, families, and staff alike.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Petersen, who passed away in 2014, and her son, Jim Hall, who passed away in 2022.
Elizabeth is survived by her son, Clark Petersen; her daughters-in-law, Linda Petersen and Carolyn Hall; and her cherished grandchildren, Austin Hall, Kara Petersen, and Katelyn Michalski. Her family was her greatest joy and the focus of her life.
Elizabeth’s legacy is one of dedication, compassion, and love. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
