

Elizabeth V. Woolverton of Garland, Texas, beloved and devoted aunt and dear friend to many, passed away peacefully in Dallas, Texas on February 28, 2011, after a courageous four-month battle with cancer. Lisa, as she was affectionately known, was born in Seattle, Washington on August 8, 1941. She is survived by her sister Lore Swett, nieces Lisa (Green), Candice (Gallop), and Kimberly (Myers), cousin Paul Euchner many grand nieces and nephews, and the love of her life and companion, Phillip Henry. Lisa is joyously reunited with her dear father Victor Euchner, adored mother, Louise Euchner and cherished brother, Karl Euchner.
Lisa graduated from the University of Washington, beginning her career as an elementary school teacher. Her career path changed when her travels in life brought her to Dallas, Texas in 1979, beginning a new job with the American Heart Association, followed by a 14-year career with ClubCorp, and culminating with 15-years with Contran Corporation.
Lisa will be remembered for her energy, joy and the kindness and compassion she had for all people and pets. Her legacy is a treasury of family, friends, and colleagues who will love and cherish her memory and the heart prints she left in their lives. Her devoted niece Kim and companion Phil brought her great joy throughout the years and provided loving care and comfort during her illness. During Phil and Lisa’s 25 years together, they enjoyed many wonderful trips together spanning the globe, that included most of Europe, Alaska, Antarctica, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Costa Rica, and Brazil.
A memorial service in celebration of Lisa’s life will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Sparkman-Hillcrest Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Lisa's memory to the Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Office of Development, P.O.
