Mrs. Elsa Diehl

Elsa Person Diehl, age 100 of DeSoto, Texas passed away March 14, 2020 in Waxahachie, Texas. She was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut to Theresa and Carl Person. She was very proud of her Scandinavian heritage.

Elsa was married to the love of her life, Harold (Harry) Diehl for 58 years until his death in 2004. They enjoyed traveling to many new places but their favorite destination remained Sweden.

Elsa was a long time member of Wynnewood Presbyterian Church and Oak Cliff Presbyterian Church.

Elsa was predeceased by her sister, Astrid (Ozzie) Fagan and her son in law, John (Rusty) Conway.

Elsa is survived by her daughter, Cathy Conway; grandsons, Derek Conway and wife Danna and Andrew (Andy) Conway and wife Monica; great grandchildren, Olivia Elsa, Caleb, Ava Rose and Dylan. She is also survived by her sister, Ann Martin and sister in law, Lois Bostic and several nieces and nephews.

Elsa never met a stranger, so she is survived by many friends and extended family.
