Elvira Najera Siller

Elvira Najera Siller of Dallas, Texas passed away on May 20, 2016. Elvira dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Always helpful, loving and giving to all of them. Elvira was self sufficient into her late 80s and went on to live in the care of her oldest daughter Benita. Many thanks to our cousins Leonardo and Sonny Martinez who have always looked for her even after our father passed away, it meant so much to her. Also many thanks to her cousin Arturo Guzman who has always been there for her and spoke of him to the end of her childhood memories. Elvira was born June 15, 1921 in Dolores, Texas to Manuel Najera and Maria Castro. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jose Najera and sister Eloisa Hernandez, Husband of 52 years Gilberto S. Siller, son Gilbert Siller, half Siblings; Cathy Heithecker, Manuel Najera Jr., Lamar R. Pena, Alicia R. Nieto and Hope Rodriguez . She is survived by half siblings Mario Najera, Olga Martinez, Celia Tijerina, Jessie Solis and Homero Rodriguez. Also survived by daughters Benita with Bud Fuson, Amelia with Bruce Howard, and Carmen with Paul Alvarez. 9 Grandchildren; Johnny Ayala, Cissy Hacken, Andrew Howard, Jessica Howard, Ryan Howard, Joshua Howard, Melinda Martinez, Monica Alvarez, and Paul Alvarez Jr. 6 Great Grandchildren Alyssa Ayala, Benjamin Ayala, Matthew Martinez, Melina Martinez, Hadassah Howard and Beth Howard.
