Eric Cortez

Eric Cortez, 25, of Temple, Texas, passed away on March 16, 2026. Born on April 10, 2000, Eric lived a life filled with laughter, love, and a spirit that brought joy to everyone around him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Eric was known for his kind heart and joyful spirit. He had a goofy personality that could make anyone smile, and his laughter was truly contagious. He had a special way of lifting others up and bringing light into every room he entered. Eric will be remembered for the happiness he shared and the love he gave so freely.

He is survived by his father, Patrick Cortez; his mother, Victoria Cortez; his brother, Brandon Morales; his sister, Prescilla Flores; his grandmother, Sara Cortez; his grandmother, Corinne Pacheco; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly.

Eric’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
