Ernestine Novella Adams

Ernestine Novella Adams, 92, of Dallas, Texas passed away on February 9, 2015. Ernestine, or “Teeny” as she was lovingly known by her family, was born in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana on August 8, 1922 to Emmitt and Mellie Adams. She was a dedicated and hard-working woman who loved to learn. She was a long time employee of Hartford Insurance as an insurance rater. A loving sister, aunt, and friend, Teeny will be dearly remembered by all those she loved. She will forever remain in their hearts.

Ernestine is preceded in death by her parents, Emmitt and Mellie Adams; sister, Virgil Sullivan; brothers, Guy Adams and Gilford Adams; Niece Mellie Pryor and nephews, Dennis Williams, A. J. Williams, J. E. Sullivan, and H. D. Sullivan.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sister, Christine Williams; nieces and nephews, Glenda Lewis, Anna Williams, Cecilia Troupe, Barbara Johnson, Angela Faries, Mark Williams, Teresa Sikes, and Marilyn Dommell; numerous great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family received friends during a visitation held on February 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Calvary Hill Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00p.m. Interment immediately followed at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
