Esther Hamill

Esther Jane Hamill went to be with her Savior early Tuesday morning, November 27, 2012. Born in Cleveland, Ohio March 1, 1934 to Louis and Hazel Bliesch, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Neil. Esther is survived by her children Neil Hamill, Jr. and his wife Maria, Cheryl Keeley and her husband John, and Gregg Hamill and his wife Sarah. She is also survived by grandchildren Ana Maria Braswell and husband Rich, Christina Rollins and husband Jerod, Michael Hamill, Lauren Schraad and husband Michael, Sean Keeley, Lance Corporal Thomas Hamill (USMC), Alan Hamill, great granddaughter Caraline Braswell, sister Charlotte Norris and husband Carl, cousin Marlene Bobula and husband Don and many other members of her extended family. Esther graduated from Bowling Green University with a degree in education. During her working career she taught elementary education in both Ohio and Texas and was a bank president’s executive assistant. Esther enjoyed traveling, reading, music, card games, genealogy, spending time with her family and her service to Redeemer Presbyterian Church’s WIC board. While she will be dearly missed by her family and friends, we are grateful for the time we had with her and are comforted that she has won the victory and is now in the presence of her Lord. A memorial service will be held at Redeemer Presbyterian Church – McKinney on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, Esther requested donations be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
