Eugene E. Ballard

Eugene Earnest Ballard was born on March 20, 1929 in Kaufman County, TX, where he was also raised. He passed away January 16, 2015 in Rockwall, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Coley and Maggie Ballard; 6 sisters; and 5 brothers.

Eugene is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Jean Willingham and husband Troy of Rockwall, TX; granddaughter, Tamra Renea Putman of Mesquite, TX ; great-granddaughter, Amanda Jean Almanza and husband Jose of Mesquite, TX; great-grandchildren Anna, Anthony, Ali, and AJ; great-grandson, Eric Sean Harrison of Garland, TX; great-grandchildren, Faith, Hope, Devon, and Destiny; grandson, Troy Willingham, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Royse City, TX; great-granddaughter, Jessica Willingham; great-grandson, Parker Alan Willingham; son, James Dale Ballard and wife Kathy of Durant, OK; grandson, James Dale Ballard, Jr. and wife Darla; great-grandchildren, Brian, Riley, Dylan, and Sean; granddaughter, Angela Weibel and husband Eric; great-grandchildren, Meghan, David, Jason, and Brandon; granddaughter, Melissa Ticer and husband Eric; great-grandchildren, Dalton, Rachel, Ben, Emily, Wyatt, and Nathan; sister, Dorothy Wimpee of Sachse, TX; as well as many nieces and nephews, and loving friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 20 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M, and Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 21 at 10:00 A.M., all at Grove Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Dallas, TX.
