Eutopia Lyle Sackrey was born February 3, 1922 in Missouri and passed away October 21, 2013 in Garland, Texas. She is survived by her daughters Patricia Barnett and Frances Dowell; four grandchildren Beverly Slough, Barry Barnett Jr., Lisa Campbell, and Amy Schmerse; 10 great grandchildren, and two great- great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred and her son William. Eutopia was involved with many activities with her church. She also enjoyed needlepoint and working in her vegetable garden, and she was known as a “tree hugger.” She was among one of the favorites at Autumn Leaves because of her kind words such as saying “I love you” to many of the associates there. Eutopia will be truly missed by her family and her friends.
There will be no formal service. Just an informal 15-20 minute graveside gathering where people can pray, and share their thoughts and memories of our mother/grandmother/friend.
