

Eva was known for her kindness, honesty, and joyful spirit. She had an infectious energy and a love for singing, which she often shared during family gatherings, celebrating the lives of both present and past family members. Her commitment to her family was profound, and she was the heart and soul of every celebration.
Professionally, Eva dedicated her life to education, tirelessly working to impact the lives of countless children. Her passion for teaching was evident in her every action, leaving a legacy of inspired students and grateful colleagues.
Eva was preceded in death by her father, Ernesto Yanes; mother, Magdalena O'Canas Yanes; and brothers, Joe, Adan, and Jesus Yanes. She is survived by her brother, David Yanes.
Special thanks to Eva’s good friend Olga Pena for supporting Eva during her final years with us. Eva's life was a bright flame that burned with love for her family and her community. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. In keeping with her wishes, no services will be held.
