Evie Joyce Hein

Evie Joyce Hein, 76 of Garland, Texas left this earthly home on April 4, 2022 she was born June 20, 1945 to Edward and Evie Pruitt in Dallas, TX. Joyce worked as an office manager for the Trinity Universal and Edward Jones Investments for more than 43 years. She met and married the love of her life Eddie Hein on February 11, 1964 they had one beautiful daughter together, and 58 beautiful years together. In her spare time Joyce enjoyed camping, loved Eddie’s flowers in the front yard and sitting out on the porch listening to the birds with him. She loved time spent with her church family. She attended Gatewood Baptist for over 20 years and was one of their most treasured members.

Joyce’s family and friends will always remember her as a gracious, God fearing lady, the most loyal, kind, warm and loving person and her family was her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Michael Pruitt

Joyce is survived by her beloved husband, Eddie Hein; daughter, Julie Hein; faithful friends Linda Drake and Victoria Heintz along with many others

A visitation for Evie will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Gatewood Baptist Church, 4919 Gatewood Rd, Garland, TX 75043. A funeral service will occur Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Gatewood Baptist Church, 4919 Gatewood Rd, Garland, TX 75043. A committal service will occur Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park, 12649 Lake June Rd, Balch Springs, TX 75180.
