Francis was born in Dallas, Texas on April 15, 1928.
Francis graduated from Pleasant Grove High School, Dallas, in 1945. He was
in the banking business for over 40 years, retiring in 1988 from
First Republic Bank (now Bank of America). He was a former member of
A. C. Garrett Masonic Lodge, Dallas, and is a member of Lakewood United
Methodist Church where he served his Lord in many capacities for 71 years.
He is survived by one brother, Tom Shoemaker (wife Janet), and several
nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by siblings Eula, Norma, Ruth,
Gene, Jim, and Nancy.
God could not have blessed us with a better brother, uncle, and friend.
Francis loved, he shared, he gave. He brought us joy and made our lives
richer.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
