Francisco Ramirez

He was born on March 9,1943 in Calvert, Texas to Antonio Ramirez and Paula Sabedra. Frank was raised in South Dallas, Texas. He married Delia Mendez in 1962 and the couple had 4 daughters. They divorced in 1978. Later he found his lifelong partner, Genevieve Esquivel of 30 + years. He worked as a Blueprint Cameraman for several printing companies for more than 40 years before retiring.

In his spare time Frank enjoyed fishing, watching Dallas Cowboys games, cooking out, spending time with family, and celebrating all occasions. His family and friends will always remember him as well-dressed and groomed, social, fun-loving, and a great story telling person. He will also be remembered as an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan who got lucky winning a football pot or two. He was a loving father and was always there for his daughters and partner Genevieve Esquivel. He loved Geneva’s family, who called him Uncle Frank.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Paula Ramirez, brothers, Antonio “Tony” Ramirez, Pedro “Pete” Ramirez, Sister Jovita Marez; daughter Estella Ramirez Ceja, and great-grandson Adrian Elijah Ybarra.

He is survived by his loving partner Genevieve Esquivel; his sisters Sofia Lara, Virginia Smith, and Helen Flores; his daughters, Dianna Chavez (Raymond), Irene Sanchez (Martin), and Alma Delia Turner (Casey); his 13 grandchildren Erica Chavez Duran, Raymond Chavez Jr., Maricela Ramirez, Javier Ceja Jr., Raquel Ceja Lucero, Martin Sanchez Jr., Nicholas Sanchez, Selena Sanchez Ramos, Christopher Sanchez, Eric Urbina, Jason Cisneros, Joel Cisneros, and Alma Mia Cisneros; 19 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews & cousins.

A visitation for Francisco will be held Friday, September 5, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228. A prayer service will occur Friday, September 5, 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228. A funeral service will occur Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228. A graveside service will occur Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228.
