Died 01/02/2011 at home with family. Survived by wife Mary Elizabeth Appleby, daughter Susan Lee, son Alan Appleby, stepson Robert Dutton, 7 grandchildren & 5 great-grandchildren. Born 11/29/1924. Served in WWII as a B17 tail gunner. A Master Plumber who last worked as a purchasing agent for GD Plumbing of Dallas. He was active in the El Paso Sheriff Reserves, the Masonic Temple, the Shrine Circus, the Kiwanis Club and the Methodist Church. Visitation 11:00 AM, Thursday, 01/06/2011. Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 PM on Thursday 01/06/2011. Internment will be at the National Cemetery.
