

He is survived by his two sons, Kevin and his wife Maecy and Kurt and his wife Angie and two brothers, Bill Renner and John Renner. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene Roland Renner and his parents, Rex and Mathilda Clemens Renner.
Fred was a hero as a father and a hero for America. He was in the Army as a member of the 45th infantry out of Oklahoma. He was awarded several medals including the Bronze Star for his actions during the Korean War.
Fred was born and raised in Oklahoma and was a Sooner through and through. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma after returning from Korea.
Fred moved to Fort Worth and began his life with his wife Charlene. Fred worked his way through the lumber business and moved to Dallas where he founded Renner Lumber Inc. He quickly became an integral part of the Dallas building boom supplying most of the lumber yards and directly supplying top home builders such as CTX.
After Charlene’s death, Fred moved to Traditions and met a wonderful friend, Billie Smith. He spent 5 wonderful years at Traditions and made many friends. Billie has become a member of Kevin and Maecy Renner’s family and is thoroughly loved.
Fred's funeral is on Monday, May 11th, at 11:00 am at Sparkman Hillcrest off of Northwest Hwy. His family asks that all his friends and loved ones take precaution due to the Corona Virus and keep their safety and health first and foremost.
