Fred Jr. attended Elementary School at Phyllis Wheatley and attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
In 1957, Freddie and his family moved to Highland Hills where his education continued at JN Ervin and Roosevelt and back to JN Ervin where he was a member of the varsity basketball team, where bonds and lifelong friendships were formed and he was given the nickname Biscuit. Freddie Lee Jr. (Biscuit) was in the first graduating class (1966) of the mighty JN Ervin Jaguars.
After graduation, he was drafted into the United States Army. After his service to his country he returned home into civilian life where he began working for Frito Lay. He then met and married his first wife Floydene Reed. After the dissolution of that marriage, Freddie met Brenda Wheeler and his first and only son Quincy was born.
Freddie later was employed with Owens Corning where he remained a valued employee until his retirement.
In 2017, Freddie and his first wife Floydene remarried and he relocated to Waco Texas where he resided until his untimely passing.
Freddie was a quiet, soft spoken, kind, gentle and patient man. A man among men. He was slow to anger and quick to forgive. A man you respected and loved. Love and respect is what he requested and deserved.
Freddie was preceded in death by his Wife (Floydene Jackson), Father (Freddie Jackson Sr.) Mother (Louise Fleming Jackson), Paternal GrandParents (Tommie and Evelyn Jackson), Maternal GrandParents (Cleveland and Mattie Fleming), Sister (Tommie Potts), Brother (Rickey Jackson), Nephew (Will Potts), 8 uncles, 6 aunts, 2 cousins, and 3 brother-in-laws.
