

Fulvio was born on December 23, 1924, a son of Vittorio and Domenica (Quero) Marsan in the town of Castelvecchio Subequo (AQ) in the Abbruzzo region of Central Italy. His family then moved to Bari where he was raised. In his early 20s he left Italy to pursue new opportunities in Lima, Peru, where he met his ex-wife, the late Georgina Plasencia. They had three children that survive him: Fulvia Hoffmann, Gina Green (husband Gary) and Fulvio S. Marsan. Fulvio had two grandchildren, Rachel Stephenson (husband Chuck) from Double Oak, TX and Luigi Marsan who lives in California, who also survive him. He had the fortune to meet and play with his beloved great-grandchildren, Carson (15), Charlize (13) and Carys (12) Stephenson, from Double Oak, TX.
Fulvio had a successful career as a radio D.J., producer and conductor of “Viernes Selecto” featuring classical music. This program was recognized by the Inspector of the “Ministerio de Educacion” in Peru, as a cultural venue for all audiences. He also managed musical programs and variety shows in Panamericana Radio and TV. He came to the US in the early 80s worked in sales and received an award for high production. Fulvio enjoyed high couture, fine cuisine and classical music. He loved to read and acquired quite a book collection. He will be remembered by his story telling, his cooking and his catholic devotion.
A visitation for Fulvio will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home Chapel, located at 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, TX 75220.
A funeral service with Liturgy of the Word will follow at 2:00 PM also at Calvary Hill Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Ramiro Rodriguez of St. Phillips Catholic Parish officiating.
Entombment will be held at Calvary Hill Cemetery, Dallas.
