Widow of Jerry L. Hardin passed away on Thursday, May 12 at age 93. Georgie was born into the family of a Vernon, Texas county sheriff, and lost both parents when only 12 years old. However, with the help of an aunt, she began a career of accounting and bookkeeping, became a mother of four children, a business manager for multiple cattle auctions, a regular performer with the Rodeo special attraction " THE DALLAS MOUNTED QUADRILLE" as well as an active member of the Mesquite Community and the Lon Creek Baptist Church. Georgie is survived by her children: Jerry Hardin of Los Angeles, Jerriann Lee of Mesquite, Lavonne Littlejohn of Mesquite, and Benjamin Hardin of Conroe, TX. Visitation and Respects will be Sunday, May 15, from 2-4PM. Service on Monday, May 16, 10:00 AM, at Grove Hill Chapel.
