

Jerry was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Her parents were James Gaston Murchison and Geraldine Fort Murchison. She grew up in the small town of Bunkie, La. She attended L.S.U. and briefly worked for the Red Cross in 1944 before moving to Dallas to join her sister.
She worked for American Airlines until 1948 when she married Capt. Richard Titley of Dallas. As an Army officer's wife she was stationed in many places among them: Forts Sill and Bliss in Oklahoma and Texas, University of Illinois, Army War College in Pa. in Pa., Colorado Springs, CO. and her favorite: the years in Paris, France where Richard was serving on the staff of the Supreme HQ Allied Powers Europe. They returned to Dallas in 1964. She spent many happy hours there and in Wimberley, TX in the Hill Country.
She enjoyed her Silky Dogs and was very active in the Silky Terrier Clubs of America and served as president of the national club. Jerry was known for her friendly and cheerful attitude as well as her beautiful countenance. They retired to Edgemere Retirement Community in 2007.
She is survived by her husband, and sons James Richard and his wife Carol of Dallas and Robert Randolph of Nashville. The family is grateful for the care givers: Dicie Sumlin, Sasha Garcia, and Treva Phillips for the care provided. Jerry is predeceased by her father, mother , sister and brother.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 2pm in Chapel East at Sparkman Hillcrest with burial to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Dallas.
