Glenda Lalonde

Glenda married the love of her life, Charles Lalonde, in 1964 in Grand Coteau. Together they built a home filled with warmth, love, and deep devotion to their growing family.

She is survived by her three children: Mindy Carey and her husband James, Jill Thomas and her husband Barry, and Chad Lalonde and his wife Patty. She was a proud and loving grandmother, "Gigi," to Kirsten, Tyler, Hunter, and Katie, and a great-grandmother to Porter and Adalyn. She is also survived by her beloved siblings Marquitha, Dallas Jr., Jude, Gayle, Trudy, and Debbie. She also dearly loved her granddogs: Teddy, Tilly, Tumbler, and Baylee.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Viola and Dallas Quebedeaux, and her siblings Kathleen, Donald, Rayland, Carmen, Della, and Joe.

Glenda was an extraordinary wife, mother, and friend. She found joy in life's simple moments and strength in her Catholic faith. She was a loving sister, a steadfast protector, and a fierce defender of those she cared for. Her compassion, loyalty, and quiet strength touched everyone who knew her.

Her legacy of love, laughter, and grace lives on in all who had the blessing of knowing her.

The family invites you to join in celebrating Glenda's life. A visitation is scheduled Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with the Holy Rosary prayed at 6:00 pm at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, TX 75220. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled Friday, June 27, 2025 at 1:00 pm in the North Chapel of Calvary Hill Cemetery followed by the entombment and reception at the funeral home.
