He was born on June 18, 1957 to Alice and Don Roush of Dallas, Texas. Glenn was the second born but the first son. He grew up in Mesquite, TX and had a childhood filled with hunting, fishing, camping, and terrorizing his three sisters. He attended North Mesquite High School before enlisting in the United States Navy. Upon returning to Dallas, he became a father in November 1980. After moving to Houston, he met Candy Broussard and spent the next 20 plus years happily raising five kids and 16 grandkids. Glenn had a love for anything that went fast - cars, boats, and especially motorcycles. Glenn will be remembered as the life of the party, a storyteller, an expert on water skis, a man who could fix anything, a wonderful son, brother and father.
Glenn is survived by his parents Don and Alice Roush, his son Glenn Roush, Jr., his three sisters Gail Burket, Sandra Knapp, and Susan Embree, his long-time partner Candyce Broussard and their family Regina Grant, Jamie Grant, Angela Grant, Jimmy Grant and Lucas Grant. Additionally, he is survived by 18 grandchildren, aunts, uncles and many nieces and nephews who will miss his infectious laugh.
