Gloria Elaine Morrison

Gloria Elanie Willis was born the only girl to Mr. and Mrs. Paul S. Willis Sr. and Sis—Mimie N. Willis on September 23, 1961, in North Hollywood, California. Gloria has three brothers: Samuel D. Willis, Paul S. Willis III (Who Preceded her Death), and Billy R. Willis (Who Also Preceded her Death).

Gloria attended T.L. Marsalis Elementary School and graduated from South Oak Cliff, Class of 1980. Gloria attended Mountain View College where she received an Associate in Applied Arts and Sciences. Dallas Baptist University and El Centro College with an Associate Degree in Business.

Gloria worked in the Banking business at Chase for 15 years, CVS for 8 years as an Account Manager, and most recently for the Dallas Sheriff Department this year. Gloria was so excited about her recent new career change.

Gloria last attended Gospel Tabernacle Church under the leadership of Pastor David E. Martin with was her godfather. While there, Gloria was in the choir and worked in hospitality. Gloria loved 1st Lady Melanie Martin.

She loved all the mothers at the church, Mother Dorthy Pratt, and her Godmother Sis. Ann Hardin and Others. She loved giving out Mother Days cards and gifts.

Gloria loved her family and friends she had such a loving heart and met no strangers. She loved her book club for over 10 years, shopping, and watching good movies.

Gloria give out the small book of “Our Daily Bread” she believed in spreading God word.

Fun Fact: Gloria loved some Tony Dorsett. Gloria spoke dearly of her cousin Amos O’Neal and her Best friend Linda Gills. If you know her, she loves her birthday and will let you know 2 months ahead of time for you to start shopping.

Although Gloria had no biological children, she was the Godmother to several.

Quinteria and LaQruisha Gill, along with Cierra, Trinity, and Jerold Wright.

Gloria leaves to cherish her memories with: Brother Samuel Willis (Darius Johnson, Inocencio Pierre Johnson Sons), Cousin, Amos Oneal (Lynn)(Austin, Chelsen, Brianna Amos children whom she adored).
